Subjects Taught
Bridge Math, Calculus, Geometry

I graduated from Wayne County High School in 1980.

I received a BS in Secondary Education with a double major in History and Mathematics in 1984 from the University of North Alabama.

I completed 15 graduate hours at UNA and Middle Tennessee State University.

I have been teaching for about 37 years.

I started my career at Rogers School in the fall of 1984.  I moved to Central High School in Florence and taught there for 4 years.  After spending 1 1/2 years in Germany working in the private sector I returned in mid year and spent about 5 months as a replacement teacher in several schools in North Alabama.  I moved to Birmingham and worked in the Midfield school system for 10 years.  I then returned to work here in Wayne County and this will be my 20th year here.

I have lived in Wayne County for most of my life.  I always wanted to be a teacher and I spend most of my time teaching.  I usually teach Sunday school at church and work as the teaching pastor.  I am married to Eleonore the science teacher for Frank Hughes School.  I have three children.  We live on a farm in the Clifton area.  I enjoy fishing and hunting when I am not at Wayne County High.
