Transition TN hosting Virtual Transition Fairs for Tennessee students with disabilities and their families to start planning for the transition to adulthood.
Virtual Transition Fairs

Due to the recent cancellations of in-person transition fairs, Transition TN will host Virtual Transition Fairs for Tennessee students with disabilities and their families. Students and families will have the opportunity to learn what educational and work-related resources are available across the state for individuals with disabilities and how to access these services. We recommend our Virtual Transition Fairs for students in middle and high school and their families; it is never too early to start planning for the transition to adulthood!

On Tuesday evenings in May from 5:30 to 7:00 pm CDT, Transition TN will host three Zoom forums to provide information about different types of transition-related resources available statewide.
  • May 12: Inclusive Higher Education Programs - Speak to representatives from Tennessee’s six college programs for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • May 19: Postsecondary Education Resources - Learn about disability service resources in community colleges, TCATs, traditional 4-year schools, and other specialized college programs for students with disabilities
  • May 26: Employment Programs and Resources - Learn about different employment services and supports around the state and how to access these services
